The season of socializing is upon us. While some of us will be primping for parties... many of us are preparing to entertain friends in our own homes. We've compiled a list of necessary party accessories to add a little extra class to your festivities... and to be sure to spread the holiday cheer to all your loved ones.

TAKE CHARGE. Chargers serve as an under plate, usually about 12” in diameter, and come in a range of bold, festive colors. Pick your palette to match: anything from gold to sky blue and ruby red. These cheerful pieces can spice up any dinner table and amp up any simple place setting.
 
 
HOLIDAY FAVORS. Everybody loves a surprise present during the holidays and what better place to give friends a gift than at the dinner table? Wrap up a little party favor for each guest and use the gift tag as a place card at the table. It is a great way to start a meal- and comical presents are great helps to starting conversation among new friends.

 
NEW HEIGHTS. Take several various empty boxes, wrap them like presents, place them in the middle of the table at varying heights. When you serve your food, place serving dishes on the different levels to attract more attention to your food – your table will look fabulous too. CENTERPIECE. We love to get our creative juices going with our centerpiece- it's an easy thing you can do on your own. Here's our trick: take a vase and fill it with cranberries, pine cones & other seasonal organic bits.  Alternatively, fill the vase with twinkly lights and tinsel or bold colored decorations. AMBIENCE. Besides the Starbucks holiday cups, nothing can get people in the mood than Christmas music. We have loved the newly released Michael Buble holiday CD is perfect, easy listening at any party. (Remember, mood and setting are almost just as important as the food!) Don't forget Bing Crosby's classic tunes for a guaranteed hit.

    I try my best to research ads broefe posting them on my blog. When I shop, I even print coupons from Bargainista instead of the original e-mails I receive from retailers - 'cause I won't share something I wouldn't use myself. I apologize for any problems you experienced as a result of this or any coupon you receive at Bargainista. As a general rule, you should always check with your local retailer too. Regardless, it would have been good business for M-A-C to accept your coupon instead of turning you away.

    Sometime we spray paint pine cones in metallic colors for table decorations. Such an easy & cheap way to make the table look a bit more glamorous. :)
